A Saturday-morning mix of animation and slapsticky live action from Hanna-Barbera in which a Monkees-like rock band consisting of animals (actually, four guys dressed in animal suits) introduced cartoons and played late-'60s bubblegum pop. It was a huge hit in its first season, then tailed off dramatically in its second. A reedited version aired in syndication in 1971-72.
