Bachelor Pad Episode Recap: Week 2 Season 3, Episode 2

Episode 2 of Bachelor Pad picks up immediately after the rose ceremony, and Erica Rose is smiling ear to ear. David, though, knows he has a huge target on his back now. Brittney and Erica, meanwhile, are screaming at each other, crying, calling each other sluts, and threatening to leave. "Every guy's fantasy is twins, but I don't think they've met these twins yet," Lindzi says, putting it perfectly.

The next morning, host Chris Harrison comes in and explains the competition: rhythmic gymnastics. The winners (one guy, one girl) get a rose and the worst performers get a vote against them. The men and women split up for training — or attempting to train. Next, they suit up into tight unitards. Points should've definitely been awarded the guy who pulled it off the best, right? So after a pretty less-than-stellar performance, Erica and Ed get voted worst, while Michael and Blakeley win for best. Donna really wants Michael to take her out since she's been crushing on him since Jillian's season, and she's ecstatic when he ultimately chooses her, Rachel and Lindzi to join him on the date.

The foursome arrives on their date in a concert hall where a band is performing. Donna is freaking out that she's dancing with Michael but is the feeling mutual? She's a little bummed when he shares his moves with Rachel next. And then they kiss. And kiss some more.

At the house, Ryan has created a huge surprise for Jamie because it's her birthday. He reiterates how much he loves her as a partner, but Jamie is secretly planning to swap him for Chris. Ryan adds that Chris mentioned he's going to remain with Blakeley, which is a shock to Jamie. Chris is keeping her close, while trying to still keep Blakeley happy (since he has the power this week) as his partner. "I'm here playing a game," Chris says in his interview. He later tells Blakeley he doesn't even have feelings for Jamie. They walk away and get into bed. Chris = jerk.

Back to the date, Donna shows Michael what she drew for him, which is a portrait. In return, he gives her a kiss to "fulfill her fantasy" as he puts it. But when he grabs the rose it goes to Rachel.

It's Blakeley's turn to go on the date and she chooses Chris, Ed and David to join her. David is practically in tears that he was chosen considering he's a newbie. They all head to the date, which is at a soap box race track. They decorate their soap boxes and get ready to race for the rose. Ed wins the trophy race, but will he get Blakeley's rose?  During the evening portion of the date, they strip down and get in the pool. Chris is really worrying about David getting to Blakeley, but the super fan is pretty good at appealing to her emotional side. He also offers her his vote to do what she wants. During her talk with Chris, she asks if he's in it with her and he of course says he is. When it comes time to hand out the rose, she gives it to Chris.

Everyone returns to the house where the romance is heating up. Kalon and Lindzi are together, as are Michael and Rachel and David and one of the twins. And then there's drunk Ed. He and Jaclyn start hitting it off until Sarah comes in and the two, well Ed, makes some crazy noises in the Boom Boom Room.

The house cannot stand the twins, who return to their bickering. And it goes on for hours. So one of them (who's who?) decides that they should leave. My ears are very much OK with this.

At the rose ceremony, everyone is bugging out about being voted off, save for Michael, Rachel, Chris and Blakeley, all of whom have roses. But when Chris Harrison comes in, he explains that because Brittany and Erica left, no ladies have to go home. They also have the power to vote for which guy will leave. Kalon petitions to keep David and cut Ryan, who he doesn't trust. He tells Lindzi, who fills in the others. Reid doesn't like this plan and decides to get the girls to vote out Ed, who already has a vote against him. Ed finds out what's going down when Sarah tells him mid-voting that she voted for him. She feels terrible and Ed is pissed. It's up to Jamie's vote to decide. She ends up voting against virgin Ryan, who's going home. Drunkety Ed is safe and Reid's now screwed.
