It's the penultimate episode of Bachelor Pad, and we're down to the final four couples. At this point, the game really comes down to winning challenges. So, who's one step closer to the $250,000 prize? Let's find out.
Chris Harrison announces that after the next competition, one couple will leave immediately. The teams go outside for "Hanging by a Thread," which challenges the players' brains and brawn. One partner is suspended over the pool while the other answers Bachelor Pad-centric questions. And for a twist, the winning couple can choose who is eliminated. The questions begin and it's pretty close until Blakeley and Tony fall behind and ultimately are eliminated. Sarah and Chris, meanwhile, become the only ones to have answered all the questions right. By the end, they win their second competition in a row. So who will they send home? After a bunch of emotional speeches, it's not a surprise that they go with Blakeley and Tony. Blakeley is hysterical as she and Tony say their goodbyes. But hey, at least they found love, right?
The next challenge begins later that night with the remaining players getting in a limo to go to their next location. They arrive at the Hollywood Paladium, where Night Ranger is performing their famous song "Sister Christian." Yes, this challenge is going to be made of awesome. The teams have to karaoke, costumes and all, in front of a huge audience. Each team goes off to work with a vocal coach (which they majorly need). The next morning they wake up and all go back to practicing. Let's just say this house was not blessed with a singer. And before they know it, it's time to head to the theatre where loads of fans are waiting for them.
Backstage, everyone gets dolled up in their best '80s clothes and makeup and then it's time for the big show. Rachel and Nick go first, and their number opens with Rachel rocking her deep voice. And then comes Nick with his huge black wig and it's no more quiet Nick. Overall, it's a pretty good performance.
Next up is Ed and Jaclyn. The music starts, but Jaclyn does not. Oops, my girl forgot the lyrics! She asks to start again but then Ed tries to take over and he too wants to start over. Finally, they resort to stripping and dancing around and kissing. So there's that.
Finally, it's time for Chris and Sarah's performance. Chris does the opening verse and his voice is a lot higher than one would imagine. Sarah is pretty confident in herself, but it's hard to tell if the judges feel her energy.
Everyone comes back on stage for the judges' critique. They really seemed to like Nick and Rachel, hated Ed and Jaclyn's (and were quite offended) and thought Chris and Sarah were the most fun. They eventually name the big winners to be Nick and Rachel! Now they'll decide which of the two other couples will join them in the finale.
Back at the house, Rachel and Nick talk to all four people. Do they go with Rachel's bestie Jaclyn or the guy who's made a lot of enemies in the house, Chris? Because remember, the ousted castmates will decide which of the two final couples deserve to win. For Nick, it's a no-brainer, take Chris and Sarah, but can Rachel turn her back on Jaclyn? The tears start flowing as Rachel realizes what she needs to do.
It's the final rose ceremony and Nick and Rachel announce their decision to bring Chris and Sarah to the finale. Ed and Jaclyn are shocked and both Rachel and Jaclyn start crying. Jaclyn barely gives her a goodbye before walking off. In the car, Jaclyn makes it known how betrayed she feels. Rachel doesn't care that she's closer to the money and is mad at herself for going along with Nick's decision.
Who do you think will win Bachelor Pad?
