Bachelor Pad Episode Recap: Week 6 Season 3, Episode 6

This week's Bachelor Pad begins immediately after last week's crazy twist, and Rachel is hysterical that Michael, whom she's falling in love with, has left. Chris Harrison comes into the house to tell everyone there are now just 10 of them left and they'll be competing as couples from here on out. Nick, the odd man out, is now with heartbroken Rachel. Meanwhile, everyone is shocked that Chris is still in the game and everyone seems to want him gone.

The challenge this week is an old school Spelling Bee, where I'm not too convinced at how well most of the contestants will do. The judges for the task are the top 3 spellers in the state of California. The game starts off pretty easy with words like rose, love and kiss. Round 2 gets a little tougher with words like engagement ring (which Blakeley messes up), jewelry (which Kalon gets wrong), obsessive (Rachel gets wrong) ... you get the point. The bee comes down to Jaclyn and Ed and Chris and Sarah. It's tied after 11 rounds until Chris and Sarah finally win on the word serendipity. While they celebrate their win the others ride back to the house in a school bus.

Chris and Sarah head off immediately on their date where they take a small plane to a ranch. From there they hop on an old-school train to the middle of the ranch where a picnic is awaiting them. But first they strip down to their bathing suits they magically already had on and swim in the lake. Later in the date, Sarah asks Chris if he's over Emily yet (as if they were in a relationship) and he says he couldn't be happier to be where he is. They spend the rest of the night in the rugged barn.

As the second-place winners, Ed and Jaclyn get to go on a date as well and take a tiny plane to a small island. Once they get settled, Ed brings up his previous comments about not having feelings for Jaclyn and apologizes for the way he handled things. He then talks about how he was pursuing someone at home and was essentially in a relationship but they broke up for the show. "That's a doozy," Jaclyn says summing up the situation.

Back at the house, Tony has planned his own little date for him and Blakeley. The two seem to have really fallen for each other, and it's kind of adorable. Blakeley admits she has issues letting men in, but expresses her interest in keeping up the romance beyond the show.

Ed and Jaclyn head to the night portion of the date where their conversation continues. Ed wants to know what "being a couple" would mean to her and he adds that this is a "Facebook status thing." He calls her childish, and Jaclyn says he's making her feel insignificant. Ed then says he trusts her more than anyone and wants to continue to be close to her and he really enjoys being her.  They kiss and make their way to their overnight suite.

Jaclyn and Ed return from the date with a pair of roses that they have to hand out. They take time to chat with every couple and then share their decision to save Blakeley and Tony.

Voting begins, only this time each couple will cast just one vote. Kalon decides he needs to get Rachel and Nick out in order to be safe. Kalon uses his "power of suggestion" with Blakeley and Tony and asks them to think about voting Rachel and Nick off who don't want to be there as bad as they do. And it doesn't help when Nick gets mad and puts his foot in his mouth. Rachel, meanwhile, gets on the phone with Michael and Nick is not happy about it.

The rose ceremony begins and Chris Harrison calls up Sarah and Chris to hand out the roses. Jaclyn and Ed are safe first, followed by Nick and Rachel. So Kalon and Lindzi are going home. In their separate limos, both Kalon and Lindzi are sad they had to leave each other. But Kalon pulls an Ames and runs out of his limo and into Lindzi's where the two say they're the ones who have ultimately won. #love
