The A.T.O.M. team stays in Mr. Lee's mansion while he's away on business; Hawk pursues a career as a cooking-show host but proves dangerous in the kitchen; a power struggle occurs between Paine and his rebellious daughter Magness.
King decides it's time to pursue his dream of becoming a professional wrestler and, with Hawk as his manager, takes a shot at winning the Landmark Wrestling Federation's championship belt. Meanwhile, Paine and Vinni “The Mass” Rossi try to thwart King's efforts.
Hawk tries to impress a daring female reporter by acting like he's the leader of A.T.O.M. and taking command when the group investigates a meteor crash in the desert. But it turns out that Paine is also interested in the meteorite and hopes to create an electromagnetic pulse with it.
While aboard Mr. Lee's private yacht, the team plunges into numerous adventures when Shark is captured by an underwater evildoer named Mr. Eel, whose plan for global terror kicks off by sinking Lee's boat.
Conclusion. Mr. Lee's newest recruits get a chance to test his high-tech gadgets while protecting Landmark City from the evil Paine and his henchman Spydah after the dastardly duo come into possession of a sonic amplifier.
Part 1 of two. Axel, Shark, Lioness, Hawk and King meet for the first time as they compete on a reality TV show for the grand prize of becoming test drivers at Lee Industries, the maker of high-tech vehicles and weapon prototypes. Elsewhere, criminal mastermind Alexander Paine breaks out of prison and embarks on a major crime spree.
