The “Roadshow” rolls into St. Paul for its ninth-season opener. The highlight: a 1914 pocket watch with a perpetual calendar, chimes, even the phases of the moon. It is, says appraiser Paul Hartquist, “the finest watch I have ever seen.” Meanwhile, host Lara Spencer checks out wooden runabout motorboats on nearby Lake Minnetonka, and back at the St. Paul RiverCentre, other items appraised include an 1888 Paris cabaret poster and an 1879 French doll with Nazi ties.
