The popular crooner hosted this---and many other---variety shows. After headlining three summer series (including one on NBC with June Valli in 1957), Williams launched this multi-Emmy-winning vehicle in 1962, with Dick Van Dyke and the Osmond Brothers among the regulars. After cutting back to ocassional specials in 1967-68, Williams' weekly series returned in '69 with a more modern look and sound (namely, rock acts). A syndicated half-hour variety show followed during the 1976-77 season.
