Seriously, what the hell, ABC?
Ever since the network announced that Chris Brown would perform on last night's Dancing With the Stars results show — days after he trashed his Good Morning America dressing room in a fit of rage over being asked about his attack on Rihanna — we've all been scratching our heads. Sure, he has a hit record out right now, but he also has a record of hitting. It just didn't sit right with a lot of folks that this guy got a pass. Especially since it wasn't that long ago that Adam Lambert, who has never been charged with brutalizing anyone, was once banned from GMA for simply kissing a dude on the '09 American Music Awards.
Jeers to Katy Perry for overexposing herself — literally and figuratively.

Sunday's ratings scorecard:
ABC's coverage of the 2008 American Music Awards topped the hour, dominated Sunday's demos and averaged 12.2 million total viewers for the night (a gain of 380 versus last year). Coming in No. 2 at 8 was 24: Redemption, which delivered 12.04 million heads over its two-hour run. That marks an 18-percent improvement over the Fox series' Day 6 finale, but down 23 percent from that season's opener.
NBC's coverage of the Colts-Chargers game was the evening's most-watched program, averaging 12.29 million viewers. Facing stiff competition, Amazing Race (10.1 mil) slowed down 19 percent week-to-week.
Cold Case placed third behind the AMAs and football with 12.07 million viewers, on par with its previous audience.
The Unit inched up 200K to claim No. 3 with an audience of 9.99 million.
Alicia Keys may have led the way with five American Music Awards nominations, but it was Chris Brown who stole the show Sunday night.
The singer scooped up three trophies, including male soul/R&B artists, male pop/rock artist and the big kahuna, artist of the year.
