"Bill T. Jones: A Good Man" focuses on the Tony Award-winning choreographer as he and the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company prepare the original dance-theater piece "Fondly Do We Hope...Fervently Do We Pray" in honor of Lincoln's bicentennial. The documentary offers Jones' thoughts on his childhood, artistic journey and Lincoln; and includes archival footage of such past performances as "Monkey Run Road" (1979) and "Last Supper at Uncle Tom's Cabin/The Promised Land" (1990).
