Results-show-Thursday has gotten to the point where the producers will do just about anything to kill some time. Last week, they promo'd Steven Tyler's S&M tour, and this week, Jennifer Lopez's new music video is taking the lucrative time-waster spot. Inside sources tell me that next Thursday they'll be airing an advertisement for Randy Jackson's Dawwwwgy Day Care business.
Joshua and Jessica take the stage to receive their fate first, but we're warned that Joshua has fallen ill and may pass out. Not that I would ever wish harm upon anyone, but it would admittedly be kind of interesting if this happens, because it would be really fun to see Seacrest squirm again like he did during Jessica's piano debacle last night. But Joshua is fine, and told he is safe. He retreats to the couch. Jessica joins him.
This cute boy band called The Wanted — consisting of a few Justin Bieber variations — performs. Some hip thrusting girls join them, shooting glittery confetti out of guns and such. Kids these days!
Colton and Skylar take the stage next. They're joined by Deandre and Hollie. Colton and Skylar are safe. Deandre and Hollie are in the bottom three.
American Idol Season 5 contestant Kellie Pickler performs, assuring the rest of the contestants that even if you come in sixth place, you won't necessarily be forced to go back to making sandwiches, or painting faces, or whatever.
Phillip and Elise are the last to find out their fate — and not surprisingly, Phillip is safe and Elise is once again thrown into the bottom three. Week after week, it's like a pervasive knife in my heart! I wish America appreciated how truly unique Elise is.
Hollie is relieved of her bottom threedom, leaving Elise and Deandre. And in a fabulous turn of events, Elise is safe! Deandre will sing for his life. Did I say sing? What I really meant was bounce around on a pogo-stick for 45 seconds to "Master Blaster."
The judges do not use their save on him, though J. Lo (always the good cop) says she wanted to, but was vetoed by the guys. We say goodbye to Deandre.
Will you miss Deandre's curly mop and high-pitched squeal? I know I won't. Did you think it was his time to go? I did... but it's not about me, you guys. We want to hear from you, so share your sentiments below! Then take our poll and vote for who you'd like to see win.
