Later, he'll learn he's a father-to-be, while mother-to-be Beth (Rachel Boston) has attracted the attention of a folksinger (Ben Taylor) who's playing at the Lair. On “Bandstand,” Brandy impersonates Gladys Knight, performing “I Heard It Through the Grapevine,” and at the Lair, Gavin DeGraw covers Smokey Robinson and the Miracles' “The Tracks of My Tears.”
