Admiral Broadway Revue on NBC

Singing, dancing, comedy bits and the first teaming of Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca. The series appeared simultaneously on both NBC and DuMont for 19 weeks, from January to June 1949, after which it was canceled---despite huge ratings---by the sponsor. Caesar and Coca quickly found other work when producer Max Liebman brought them aboard his next project for NBC, the classic `Your Show of Shows.'
