Premise: An ambitious collection of original music, comedy, drama and documentary hours that included performances by Geraldine Page, Anthony Perkins, Jason Robards, Olivia de Havilland, Dustin Hoffman, Cliff Robertson, Richard Pryor, Albert Finney, Laurence Olivier, Peter Sellers, Lauren Bacall, John Forsythe, Harry Belafonte, Redd Foxx, Donald O'Connor and Ingrid Bergman. Among its memorable shows: Truman Capote's Emmy-winning `A Christmas Memory'; and a Stephen Sondheim musical, `Evening Primrose.'
