90210 Episode Recap: "The Dionysian Debacle" Season 1, Episode 20

Naomi, who has been crashing at Chez Wilson, is freed from "bourgeoisie hell" when her older sister Jen (guest star Sara Foster) returns to town. Ade and Navid tell his parents about their impending nuptials and Ade's pregnancy. Naomi and Annie go on a double date with Liam and his cousin. Problems arise between Silver and Dixon as she starts a new school.

NAVID AND ADRIANNA
After last week's impromptu proposal, Ade and Navid daydream about their life together, the proud parents of baby Hannah or Habib, depending on who you ask. Ade is concerned about how to break the news of her pregnancy and their engagement to Navid's parents, but Navid is convinced it's going to be easy. Ade tells Naomi about their plans to marry and raise the baby together, and the truth comes out: Navid doesn't know that it's Ty's baby instead of the result of a random rehab fling.

At Navid's house for dinner, Ade reveals her belly and their plans to wed to his parents. Their initial reaction: A glass vase of peonies smash on the parquet. Eventually, they come around to the idea until Navid drops the bomb that the baby isn't his. Granted, their response isn't in English (what are they anyway — Persian?), but it's fairly clear they're not on board.

Later, Navid shows up at Ade's house with bags in tow and tells her he's choosing her over his family. He gets down on one knee with a pawn-shop ring and pops the question again (no burgers this time). But first, Ade has a confession. She tells him that Ty's the daddy. Navid storms out — a few times actually — but ultimately he returns and tells her to try on the ring.

SILVER AND DIXON
Meanwhile, Silver tries on her horrendously unflattering Catholic-school uniform for Dixon (it's no Britney Spears video), but he's still bummed about her decision to leave West Bev. On her first day at St. Claire's, "Erin"'s lack of knowledge of Catholicism is apparent, so she's assigned an overzealous student, Angela, to coach her in a sort of God boot camp. When Dixon picks her up after school, she's worried that her Bible-banging tutor will see him and recognize them from her bipolar, sex-tape past.

Which of course she does. "You're that whore from the video," she says matter-of-factly. But it's OK because Silver can repent and save her soul. First step: Tell everyone about her sordid past. Until she does, Angela is going to fast. (Freak.) That said, Dixon tells Silver it may not be a bad idea for her to stop hiding. He dealt with all the whispering and looks, and now so should she.

So she does, after a particularly disturbing dream in which Angela keels over after too much fasting. She sends an email to her new classmates that divulges the real reason she left West Bev for St. Claire's. In the aftermath, Silver regrets listening to Angela. "You wanted me to go to heaven," Silver says. "But now I feel like I'm in hell."

NAOMI AND ANNIE
Naomi is stressing all over the place about her first real date with Liam (drag-racing doesn't count), and Debbie wants an update on how long she's staying. Naomi says she plans on staying until her dad's sexual harassment case is resolved. And then she has a conniption when Liam cancels their date.

The high-maintenance house guest, by means of apology, buys a new outfit for Annie — but not exactly out of the goodness of her heart. She wants Annie to wear it on a double date with Liam and Liam's cousin. On the date, Naomi hilariously struggles with small talk about the environment. When Naomi leaves the table, Liam confronts Annie about her not liking him. He says he's shy around strangers because he moved around a lot — which is clearly a lie. Annie calls his bluff and Liam gets a kick out of this. He's so impressed by her spunk that he asks her out to dinner. Annie tells Naomi that Liam asked her out, but Naomi brushes it off. The next day, Naomi confronts Liam and he says he doesn't do the "whole boyfriend thing." She's fine with it because she thinks it's all a mind game.

The Wilsons confront Annie about how wretched a house guest Naomi is (she calls Harry "Principal Boxer Shorts!") and that they need to find a better solution. Later, as if in response, the girls return to find that Jen, Naomi's older sister, is back in town to take care of her little sis -- and she brought champagne for the 16-year-olds! How thoughtful! Jen thanks the Wilsons for putting Naomi up — and for putting up with Naomi. It turns out that Naomi overheard what a burden she was, and called her sister to "rescue her from bourgeoisie hell."

The next day, Naomi introduces Jen to Mr. Matthews at school. (They even exchange grammar jokes — oy!) As Jen is leaving, she bumps into Ethan in the parking lot, which is a little nervous-making for him as it turns out he actually lost his virginity to her and not Naomi. Awk-ward!

What did you think of "The Dionysian Debacle"? Will Navid stick with Ade? Is Jen up to no good? Should Silver have confessed her "sins"? Discuss!
