Premise: A nurse (JoBeth Williams) and a hotshot doctor (Rick Schroder) try to evacuate patients from a hospital when a tropical storm floods Houston and causes a massive power failure. Kris Kristofferson. This fact-based disaster flick was inspired by Tropical Storm Allison in 2001. Co-executive produced by Cosmic Entertainment, whose principals include Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell and Kate Hudson. Gregg Champion directed.
