Cowboys Victory is a Sunday Night Success

They don't call 'em America's Team for nothing. For the second time in a week the Dallas Cowboys scored a major win - and big ratings. Following a cable-record 18.61 million viewers for last week's Monday Night Football game, the 'Boys beat the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football with 22.24 million tuning in. That number trounced the Emmy Awards (by almost 10 million viewers) and wound up as the most-watched TV program of the week. It also represents the second-biggest audience in SNF's three-year history. (A 2006 game between the Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants, featuring Peyton and Eli Manning, pulled 22.6 million.)

Fox should be the next benefactor of the unbeaten Cowboy's golden touch: they've got this Sunday's game, against the Washington Redskins (Sept. 28, 4:15 pm/ET).
