There's no shortage of Sherlock Holmes interpretations in the current pop culture zeitgeist.
There's the big-screen Sherlock Holmes, played by Robert Downey Jr., for two movies now and counting. There's the BBC version, featuring Benedict Cumberbatch, which just debuted its critically acclaimed second season on PBS in May. And now there's a third man entering the race: Jonny Lee Miller, who will play the famed quirky detective on CBS' upcoming drama Elementary. It may be an increasingly crowded field, but Miller & Co. sounded up for...

Can't wait for the Season 7 premiere of Dexter on Sept. 30?
Well, we don't blame you. After all, Season 6 ended with Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) catching Dexter (Michael C. Hall) in the middle of a kill. Fortunately, Showtime....
Parenthood already has one of the biggest casts on network TV, but it's ensemble just keeps growing. Last season added Adam and Kristina's baby daughter, Nora, and saw the return of Sarah's ex, Mark Cyr (Jason Ritter). For Season 4, which premieres on Sept. 11 at 10/9c, the NBC drama has added a few more fresh faces. There's Victor, Julia and Joel's adopted son and, of course, Emmy winner Ray Romano, who will play yet another love interest for the eldest Braverman daughter. "I've been talking to Ray a bunch about his character and he's really excited about doing it," executive producer Jason Katims tells TVGuide.com. "He's a fan."
But Sarah's complicated love life — including whether or not she accepted Mark's surprise proposal — is far from the only obstacle the Bravermans will face. Katims filled us in on Romano's "acerbic" new guy, Amber's promising new romance, Julia's tough juggling act and whether there's another new Braverman baby on the way for Crosby (Dax Shepard) and Jasmine (Joy Bryant). As usual, it sounds like you should have your Kleenex ready....

Got any Hawaii Five-0 scoop not related to McGarrett's mom? — Melissa
ADAM: You mean you don't want to know that McGarrett's recently MIA galpal Catherine shamelessly flirts with a witness protection agent to get details on Mama McGarrett's whereabouts? OK, fine: I also hear that Ed Asner's art collector/smuggler August March will be back this season. McGarrett will call on him when a band of armed thieves knock over a years-old art gallery and make off with a couple of priceless paintings. However, the simple heist eventually gives way to a kidnapping, a hostage situation and a deadly shootout.

Get ready for another superhero series!
This fall on The CW's Arrow, fans will get to follow the exploits of DC Comics' Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), a playboy who spent five years on a deserted island after a horrific boating accident. The prodigal son will return home and use the alias Green Arrow, a superhero who's super handy with a bow and arrow, to save his precious Star City from the criminals who lie in wait. Arrow has all the trademarks of a great superhero series, including a lost love — Katie Cassidy as Dinah "Laurel" Lance — and the loss of a, spoiler alert, parental figure.
VIDEO: Check out a first look at Arrow
With the premiere of Arrow, The CW has the chance to once again be the home to a long-running superhero series that will not only attract Smallville followers, but also comic book aficionados and fanboys — and even fangirls! — alike. But — and this is a big but — the writers behind Arrow need to adhere to certain rules in hero series as to not make the same mistakes of the past. Therefore, we've created a list of things that Arrow should and shouldn't do in order to be successful based on tried-and-true heroic formats:
There will be a new face joining Criminal Minds' Behavioral Analysis Unit this fall.
Jeanne Tripplehorn joins the cast in Season 8 as Alex Blake, a veteran FBI agent who specializes in linguistics. She fills the void of the departing Emily Prentiss after Paget Brewster opted to leave the series at the end of last season. Some viewers may be suspicious of the new character, but executive producer Erica Messer tells TVGuide.com that that's just fine — apparently a few of the team members will share that feeling.
