On the final episode of "Guiding Light," Doris gives the okay to Ashlee who runs to tell Daisy that she'll be in the writing program at the same college. Christina and Remy stop by his sister's place to wish Mel a happy birthday and find her just getting out of bed with Cyrus who claims he's giving her a birthday present. Hearing Remy and Christina aren't legally married, Doris performs a quickie ceremony outside. Lizzie worries to find Alexandra with Fletcher. He promises to keep her safe and later, Beth assures Lizzie that Alexandra knows what she is doing. Bill and Fletcher both admit they miss Ben. Mindy gives Billy a thrill when she announces that she's staying in Springfield. Maureen is pleased with her efforts after she sets up her father Matt on a date with her teacher Charlotte. Beth surprises Phillip with a journal and asks him to start writing again. Josh announces to Reva that he's going to Oklahoma to oversee the construction of the new hospital wing. Josh admits he wanted to kidnap her and take her to the nearest justice of the peace because he loves her and always will. Reva confesses that she'll always love him but adds that she's not ready. Josh explains he's not either which is why he's leaving town. He vows to be at the lighthouse one year from today at noon and asks her to be there. Josh then hops into the truck and drives off. Frank and Blake are amused to find they've been chatting online and gush about how great it's been. Natalia and Olivia interrupt and reveal they're naming their baby Francesca, after him. A year later, Rick and Mindy are married. At a church in Europe, Mallet and Dinah watch another couple get married and talk about their jaunt across the continent, visiting church weddings. Josh returns to the lighthouse where Reva confesses that she is ready to be with him. Josh and Reva pack up H.B.'s truck and drive off with Colin.
