In the Season 2 finale, Tabatha won't let her hair down until she rescues a failing salon in Illinois. While teaching the owner how to be a team leader, she must also tame a snippy manager and train a stylist with questionable skills.
Houston, we have a problem. Tabatha tries to ensure that a mismanaged Houston hair salon doesn't curl up and dye. Among the establishment's problems: the five owners are feuding, their customer service is dreadful and the salon is behind in rent.
Tabatha works to revamp a Massachusetts salon, but the owner has a tyrannical bent and resists investing in staff education. Worse, her staffers have previously staged a mutiny---and another one may be coming if the owner doesn't heed Tabatha's advice.
Tabatha lends hair-care expertise to the owner of a California salon, yet he's lost control of his establishment to a female stylist whose harsh personality has alienated the staff. It gets hairier when the owner's wife pushes him to sell the business.
In the third-season finale, Tabatha revisits some of the salons she tried to revitalize in Seasons 1 and 2. She explores whether the businesses are still fizzling or are now sizzling while also providing additional advice to owners and staffers.
