Ray and Avi find Eddie on the run with Sully's money; Mickey gets kicked out of Bunchy's apartment. Later, Ray puts the word out that a crew for "America's Most Wanted" is in Santa Monica; Abby and the kids hide out at a Malibu resort; and Ezra proposes to Deb.
Bunchy has a violent encounter with someone from his past; Ray tries to handle a crisis at the Donovan Fite Club; the police question Mickey about a recent murder; Ray sends Avi to protect Abby and the kids from Sully.
Ray and the family attend Fite Nite at the Donovan Fite Club. Meanwhile, Ray's plan with Sully is put into action; Mickey meets with an unlikely lady; and Bunchy encounters someone from his past and it sends him into a tailspin.
Avi drives Sully from Boston to Los Angeles to meet with Ray. Meanwhile, Ray tries to get Tommy out of a sticky situation that threatens his career; Mickey works with the FBI to get incriminating evidence against Sean Walker; and Lena digs up Frank's secrets to get him to cooperate.
Ray forbids Bridget from seeing Marvin, but she visits him anyway. Meanwhile, Ray flies to Boston to search for Sully (James Woods); Abby and Deb commiserate over drinks and get themselves into trouble; and Mickey manipulates Sean into working with him on a movie project.
Ray creates an incriminating video in an effort to shut down Van Miller's investigation. He also has a score to settle with Mickey after learning the old man put his kids in danger. Elsewhere, Ezra wanders off before his scheduled surgery, and a housewarming party at Bunchy's new abode gets out of control.
Ezra is involved in an accident and requires emergency medical attention; Terry and Frances grow closer; Bunchy gets his settlement check and starts house hunting; Mickey visits Ezra to hash out the past; Ray and Avi receive some disturbing news.
Ray, Abby and the kids visit Bel Air Academy, where they hope Bridget will be accepted, but Ray is suddenly called away to take care of a case at a Beverly Hills hotel. Meanwhile, Mickey goes to Palm Springs to see his ex-girlfriend; and Terry starts a romance with his nurse.
Mickey worms his way back into the lives of Bunchy and Terry. Meanwhile, Ezra hosts a fund-raiser in honor of his late wife, but he's haunted by his past sins; and Mickey is approached by an FBI agent who is obsessed with Hollywood.
Ray activates a plan to send his father back to prison; and he handles two crises involving movie stars. In the first, an A-list actor receives a threatening message. The second centers on an action hero who is being blackmailed with a sex video. Meanwhile, Abby defies Ray and spends the day with Mickey.
Ray Donovan, a Los Angeles fixer, does the dirty work for the city's top power players. In the opener, Ray's father is unexpectedly released from prison five years early. When he arrives in L.A. he murders a priest and vows to take revenge on his son for framing him. Meanwhile, an action star seeks Ray's help to avoid a scandal with a transsexual; and a singer needs Ray's protection from a stalker.
