Season 18, Episode 10 Cheetahs in a Hot Spot

First Aired: February 6, 2000

Following cheetahs as they struggle to survive steamy temperatures (up to 120 degrees) and steamed ranchers in Namibia. The hour follows a family of seven (a mother and six cubs) in Etosha National Park through a summer drought. Further south, the land is more bountiful, but the area's ranchers want to keep the cheetahs away. Coming to the cheetahs' aid is an organization called Africat, which rescues animals caught in ranchers' traps.
