Season 25, Episode 5 Great Perfomers at Lincoln Center: Renee Fleming and Dmitri Hvorostovsky in Concert

Lincoln Center's “Great Performers” series opens its 35th season with an operatic concert featuring soprano Renee Fleming and baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky. Included: excerpts from Tchaikovsky's “Eugene Onegin,” and arias from Mozart's “Don Giovanni,” Gounod's “Faust,” Puccini's “Madama Butterfly,” Ambrosie Thomas's “Hamlet,” Puccini's “Gianni Schicci” and Lehar's “Die Lustige Witwe.” The Orchestra of St. Luke's opens the program with the overture to Glinka's “Ruslan and Ludmilla.” Beverly Sills hosts from Avery Fisher Hall.
