Joel Meyerowitz's poignant chronicle of a 1995 Florida-to-New York auto trip he took with his 87-year-old father, who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Hy Meyerowitz is feisty, witty, warm and wise, and he hasn't forgotten how to make friends wherever he goes, even if he doesn't know where he is. Scenes of the journey are interspersed with Meyerowitz family home movies from the 1940s and '50s.
