Correspondent Forrest Sawyer explores the “cultural war” being waged over homosexuality. The hour's springboard: the 1999 murder of a gay man in Alabama named Billy Jack Gaither. The program also looks into reasons why homophobia exists (sociologist Michael Kimmel and forensic psychologist Karen Franklin are interviewed); and examines religious ramifications.
