The conclusion charts the global economy in the 1990s, focusing on the debate over NAFTA and the 1997 Asian "meltdown." Interviewed: Bill Clinton, Dick Cheney and Mexican president Vicente Fox. Market economies are ascendant but, as Daniel Yergin, on whose book "Commanding Heights" this series is based, says: "Every day the market has to prove its legitimacy, and that's a big test, particularly in the developing world, where the issue is poverty. And that's what these markets will be judged by."
