Season 13, Episode 16 Streamliners: America's Lost Trains

First Aired: August 5, 2001

Recalling the stainless steel trains that crisscrossed the country in high style (and at speeds of greater than 100 mph) during the 1930s and '40s. But then came World War II, suburbs, jets and Interstates, which signaled the end of the line for the streamliners. Liev Schreiber narrates.
