"The Impostor," a November 1999 report, charts the case of David Pecard, who is said to have had numerous aliases (and wives) and criminal records under several names. In 1998, charges against him for fraud, forgery, theft and sexual misconduct were dropped when an Arizona judge ruled that a sheriff's office violated his civil rights while he was incarcerated. However, Pecard was convicted in a military court of desertion and fraudulent enlistment. Reporting: Peter Van Sant and Harold Dow.
