I was disappointed after JAG ...

Question: I was disappointed after JAG shut down after 10 years, but NCIS has been a very satisfying successor. I am wondering if the writers or producers have ever thought about bringing some of the old JAG characters into some of the future NCIS stories. Not necessarily as ongoing characters, as Gibbs has to remain Number 1, of course. It would be kind of interesting to catch a glimpse of Harm, Sarah, etc. in a hallway or on an elevator. Or Gunny could be in the area at Quantico or in D.C. Mikey's naval career may have brought him back as a junior officer in the fleet or at the Pentagon. Just a few thoughts; many old JAG viewers would get a thrill spotting these guys in the background!
Answer: You may have a career in fan fiction the way you're plotting these scenarios. I haven't heard of any plans for NCIS to go this route, but I agree it would be a nice reward for the fans of both shows and the sort of thing that would make for a fun sweeps stunt. They are all living in the same fictional universe, after all. Couldn't hurt to acknowledge it from time to time, and to give franchise fans an idea of where their old favorites ended up.
