To answer Rose's question ...
Question: To answer
Rose's question about the absence of kids from network TV: They went to cable. I have a preteen daughter who enjoys shows such as
That's So Raven and
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody on the Disney Channel. As I've watched a few episodes of these, I thought that these were very much like the family sitcoms that used to be on, say, ABC's old TGIF block.
Answer: Good point. This is another excellent example of how cable has rushed in to fill gaps left by the broadcast networks after they drop the ball on servicing major portions of the viewing audience (in this case, kids and families).
