"That's just weird," Francesca Hilton, Gabor's only child (for now), said upon hearing the news. Ah, from the mouths of 64-year-old babes.
Von Anhalt claims that his wife had wanted a child when they wed 25 years ago and revisited the subject recently because she wanted someone to carry on the Gabor name. Her daughter Francesca took the last name of her father, Conrad Hilton, who was Gabor's second husband.
Since Gabor, 94, is well past childbearing age, has been unable to walk since 2002, and has been in and out of hospitals for the past year, the couple is looking into using an egg donor and surrogate mother.
It looks like logistics and finances may not be an issue, but some are wondering if this environment is what's best for a newborn baby. To paraphrase Jeff Goldblum's character from Jurassic Park: "Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Do you think it's right for Zsa Zsa to have a baby at this late a date?
