Zsa Zsa Gabor was taken to the hospital to treat a high fever, fluid in her lungs and an infection in her right leg, which was amputated last month, The Associated Press reports.

According to her husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, Gabor had a stroke sometime during or after her surgery last month and has not recognized anyone since.

On Tuesday morning, Gabor began spitting up blood before being taken to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Prinz von Anhalt says.

Gabor, 93, broke her hip and had replacement surgery in July. She has since been hospitalized multiple times for swelling in her legs and blood clots throughout her body.
