Zooey Deschanel Engaged to Jacob Pechenik

It's been quite a month for New Girl's Zooey Deschanel. The pregnant actress is engaged to her producer boyfriend, Jacob Pechenik, reports Us Weekly.

The news comes just one week after the couple, who first stepped out together at the Emmy Awards in August 2014, announced they were expecting their first child together. The baby is due this summer.

This will be Pechenik's first marriage and Deschanel's second. The TV star and She & Him singer was previously married to Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard; they split in 2012.
