Zayn Malik Calls Off Engagement to Perrie Edwards

Zayn Malik is getting really good at walking away from things.

Months after abruptly quitting One Direction, the 22-year-old singer has called off his engagement to Perrie Edwards, Peoplereports. Malik told Edwards two weeks ago that their relationship was over, a source tells People.

Edwards, a member of the group Little Mix, is reportedly "devastated" by the split. She and Malik got engaged in August 2013, and she was even supportive of his horrible green dye job earlier this summer.

Is Malik going through a quarter-life crisis? Should the breakup be seen as a cry for help or is it merely a sign of a young man trying to focus on his career? (Malik recently released his first solo song and has signed to RCA Records.) We may never know.
