If you're a little bored with Zac Efron's past movies, you're in good company — it turns out he is, too.

Watching his new movie, Me and Orson Wells, was " the first time I've ever watched a movie [that I'm in] and in the end I'm like 'OK! I didn't check my watch once!" the 21-year-old actor says in the November issue of NYLON Guys magazine.

His apparent lack of enthusiasm hasn't stopped fans from fawning. "I try not to look at all of it. You can't enjoy or celebrate it; it's not a real thing. The face on the lunchbox and s--- — you can't share that with your friends," he says.

In case he didn't sound blasé enough, Efron adds that when he was a child his musical talents came to him with "no effort."
"I was constantly singing. I would hear things on the radio and just be about to spit them out instantly, with perfect memorization and tone." He says his parents were unimpressed, telling him, "Shut up. Please stop singing. It's annoying," he adds.
