Lady Gaga, Eminem, Arcade Fire to Headline YouTube Music Awards

YouTube is staging its first awards show later this year in New York City. The show, hosted by actor Jason Schwartzman, will take place on Nov. 3at Pier 36 in Manhattan and will also be live-streamed, the Los Angeles Times reports. Acts including Arcade Fire, Eminem and Lady Gaga are scheduled to perform, and other performances from venues in Seoul, London, Moscow and Brazil will also be streamed leading up to the show.

"It's our chance to really celebrate the artists and the songs that have become hits on YouTube over the past year," said Danielle Tiedt, YouTube's vice president of marketing, according to the Times.

YouTube will release a list of nominees in mid-October.
