It looks like Younger will live on a little longer. TV Land has renewed the Sutton Foster comedy for Season 4 ahead of its Season 3 debut, the network announced Tuesday. The new season will consist of 12 episodes.

"The show is a force in and of itself, so it's a no-brainer to renew it again," said Keith Cox, executive vice president of development and original programming for the network. "Critics and fans love it, and I know Darren and the entire cast and crew behind Younger will continue to deliver at the top of their game."

TV Land also announced a premiere date for the show's third season, so set your DVRs for Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 10/9c. The season premiere will be followed by the Season 2 debut of Michael Rosenbaum's comedy Impastor, which was originally scheduled to return later this month alongside the The Jim Gaffigan Show.

Created by Sex and the City's Darren Star, Younger stars Broadway veteran Foster as Liza, a 40-year-old single mom who lies about her age in order to land a job in the highly sought after world of publishing. The series also stars Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann and Molly Bernard.
