Younger Bumps Charles Michael Davis to Series Regular

Charles Michael Davis is ditching New Orleans for New York City!

TVLine announced this morning thatThe Originals'Charles Michael Davis has officially been upped to series regular for Season 5 of Younger. This news comes just a few months after wrapping the final season of The Originals, in which Davis was a series regular for five years. His other credits include Grey's Anatomyand Switched at Birth.

Davis first appeared on Younger is Season 4 as Zane Anders, Imperial's hot new editor, who quickly became entangled with Kelsey (Hilary Duff). He wasn't just a love interest, but also Kelsey's personal antagonist, given how often they butted heads professionally. She may think she's over him, but we've got a feeling Season 5 will probably end up proving her wrong. And who could blame her with such charming eye candy running around the office?

Is it too thirsty to hope this means we get more shirtless scenes?

Younger Season 5 is expected to premiere later this year on TV Land.
