Could Amy Schumer be the next Bachelorette? Well...she's officially invited to be, if that means anything!

Schumer made a guest appearance on Monday's episode of The Bachelorette, where she helped coach the hopeful bachelors with their stand-up comedy bits to win Kaitlyn over. She hilariously joked around with Kaitlyn that she may steal a couple of the guys away from her, and shut down the arrogant J.J. who thought he was too smart for "90 percent" of everybody.

Fans of Schumer and The Bachelorette immediately hit the Internet with their praises for her appearance, and clamored for the comedienne to be the next season's Bachelorette.

Apparently they made their voices heard, because Schumer now has an "official offer" from Robert Mills, the senior vice president of alternative series, specials and late-night programming for ABC.

And Schumer is totally in, replying with a photo of her flying during rehearsals for hosting at the MTV Movie Awards.

Unfortunately, she may be a little busy to realistically consider the offer, with Inside Amy Schumer and her summer movie Trainwreck to promote, but that doesn't mean we can't hope!
