Watch the Final X-Men: Days of Future Past Trailer: Wolverine vs. The Sentinels!

X-Men: Days of Future Past combines two generations of mutants when Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) travels back in time to prevent an anti-mutant future from becoming reality. But in the film's final trailer, it seems that convincing (the apparently not paralyzed) Xavier (James McAvoy) that he's actually is from the future — let alone to unite with his on-and-off rival Magneto (Michael Fassbender) — isn't exactly easy.

But while the X-Men deal with personal drama, Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) rallies his new creations, the Sentinels, to take down the mutants.

And as keen-eyed fans might notice that Anna Paquin's name is in the credits, even though director Bryan Singer previously said her part had been cut from the film. But Rogue fans, rejoice! According to BuzzFeed, Paquin will make a cameo in Future Past after all.

X-Men hits theaters on May, 23.
