WWE's Charlotte Flair Is Out for Payback at SummerSlam 2018

Friendships can be complicated, especially when you're both competing for the same thing. Nobody understands this better than WWE superstar Charlotte Flair, who will fight her best friend Becky Lynch along with sworn enemy Carmella for the Smackdown Women's Championship in a triple threat match this Sunday at SummerSlam.

The pay per view event, which takes place Sunday, Aug. 19 in Brooklyn, New York and will stream live at 7/6c on the WWE Network, will see all three ladies thrown down in the ring to determine who gets to call themselves SmackDown Live!'s top woman. With a title on the line, the stakes couldn't be higher but for Flair, her biggest challenge is going up against her longtime bestie.

"What makes this triple threat so difficult is I'm technically competing for the exact same thing my best friend is. Up until now, I've always wanted Becky Lynch to succeed. But now it's like okay I want to succeed but I want to see her succeed," Flair told TV Guide. "Walking out of it, I'm going to be happy for her. But I will be disappointed if I don't win."

However, Becky Lynch isn't her only opponent. Flair will also go toe-to-toe with the current champ Carmella who hasn't stopped bragging about defeating Flair twice already. But it looks like Flair is ready to shut Carmella up once and for all. "She continues to brag she's beaten me twice. She's just gonna get her payback," added Flair.

We smell a major smackdown headed Carmella's way!
