The second day of the FIFA World Cup began with a rainy match between Mexico and Cameroon. Cameroon put up a good fight, but Mexico ended up taking the win with a final score of 1-0.
Next up was Spain and the Netherlands, who last battled it out in the 2010 World Cup final. Though last time Spain won by one goal, all they managed Friday was a single penalty in the first half.
Netherlands ended up winning 5-1, with Robin van Persie's header — dubbed the Flying Dutchman — already in the running for the best goal of the World Cup so far.
The day ended with a match between Australia versus Chile, with the latter winning 3-1.
Saturday features four matches: Colombia versus Greece (12/11c on ABC), Uruguay versus Costa Rica (3/2c on ABC), England versus Italy (6/5c on ESPN) and The Ivory Coast versus Japan (9/8c on ESPN).
