Reunions and reboots of favorite TV shows might be all the rage today, but for The Wonder Years, a reunion is out of the question.

Or at least, that's what star Fred Savage says.

Savage, whose brother Ben stars in his on nostalgia-infused hit with Girl Meets World, told People that the chances of an encore of his own series are "zero. Never."

Though he understands why the idea of a Wonder Years reunion is appealing.

"The show was about a time in your life," he said. "The show was about this finite moment in your life that has a beginning and an end, and I think that's what makes people long for that time in your life."

The Wonder Years ran from 1988-93, chronicling the childhood of Savage's character, Kevin Arnold.

There's another awesome Boy Meets World reunion on the way!

"You can't really go back to it. You can't all be 12 again, and that's why that time in our life is so special and why all the memories still stay with us and warm us and haunt us and all those things - because we can't go back to it," he told the magazine at last weekend's ATX Television Festival.

Fred Savage will next appear in Fox's The Grinder opposite Rob Lowe.

What do you think? Would you want a Wonder Years reboot? What other shows would you like to see revived?
