Hayden's arrest comes only two weeks after he was released on a $150,000 bond after his arrest on charges of child molestation and a crime against nature. According to TMZ, the arrests stem from the Discovery star's alleged molestation of his 12-year-old daughter.
According to arrest documents, Hayden's daughter told investigators he took her virginity in March 2013 when she was 11 and that she was orally and vaginally raped nearly every day. She said she stayed quiet and didn't report the rapes until now because Hayden physically threatened her.
In response to the most recent arrest, the Discovery Channel immediately canceled Sons of Guns. "Given the serious and horrific nature of the charges against Will Hayden, we have decided to halt further production ofSons of Guns and cancel the series," Discovery said in a statement.
The series, which recently wrapped its fifth season, features Red Jacket Firearms, a Louisiana custom weapons company Hayden founded. "With heavy hearts, we will be continuing to operate and ensure the fulfillment of new customer orders, back orders and to provide support to those affected by these new developments," the company said in a statement posted to its website Wednesday. "WE are the Heart and Soul of Red Jacket and will remain steadfast in our commitment to quality and our customers, for years to come."
