Saturday is Free Comic Book Day, which as the name implies, is a giveaway of comics. Now in its seventh year, the event coincides with the opening of Marvel's
Iron Man movie this weekend.
Among the TV-themed books that are being given away are
Bongo Comics Free For All (with
Simpsons and
Futurama stories),
Transformers Animated (based on the Cartoon Network series) and
The Stranded, the basis for an upcoming Sci Fi Channel backdoor pilot movie.
