VIDEO: Does American Idol's Amber Holcomb think the judges' praise hurt her?

In her third go-round on Idol (she also auditioned on Seasons 9 and 11),Candice has been the front-runner, vocally speaking, all season. The 23-year-old from St. Helena Island, S.C., is truly in a class of her own among this year's Top 10 when it comes to singing. Though she's been plagued by "church girl" dismissals courtesy of Randy Jackson in recent weeks, she proved that there's also a place for her on Top 40 radio with her rendition of Emeli Sande's "Next To Me" last week. Watch her performance of "Lovesong," which Jackson called "one of the best performances in American Idol history," here:

Candice's Finalist Diary:

Kree represents the country contingent in this year's final, with a voice that's smooth as butter and a sweet personality to boot. A laidback 22-year-old from Port Arthur, Texas, Kree has demonstrated versatility that's allowed her to tackle songs by Patty Griffin and Janis Joplin with equal aplomb. The judges sometimes criticize her for not showing enough emotion during her performances, but she closed the door on those remarks last week after a touching hometown visit, during which she dedicated a song to her late parents. Revisit her performance of Patty Griffin's "Up to the Mountain" from the early rounds here:
