NBC's White House drama The West Wing and CBS's comedy smash Everybody Loves Raymond were the big winners at the second annual Family Television Awards, presented Thursday in Beverly Hills. The West Wing, nominated for 18 Emmy Awards, took the best drama prize and Everybody Loves Raymond, up for nine Emmys, won best comedy honors. Other winners include Spin City's Michael J. Fox as best actor and Touched by an Angel's Della Reese as best actress. The awards are presented by advertisers seeking to encourage the development of family-friendly TV shows.
