Arrow Taps Vinnie Jones to Play New Villain

It's a match made in casting heaven.

British actor Vinnie Jones has signed on to guest-star in Season 3 of Arrow, reports Variety.

The former footballer, who's known for playing loud, aggressive and angry types, will take on the role of Green Arrow villain Danny "Brick" Brickwell for three episodes.

In the comics, Brick is known for having thick, invulnerable skin. In Arrow, his character is the ruthless leader of a gang and is known by the name "Brick" because he's been shot many (many) times, but he's never been killed. His character's name first appeared on Oliver's (Stephen Amell) list of targets in Season 1.

Jones is set to appear in Episodes 10, 11, and 12 of Arrow's current third season, which airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
