Top Videos of the Week: Wins of the Year, Charlie Brown School of Dance, Newtown Tributes

This week, Paul McCartney stood in for Kurt Cobain to front a semi-reunited Nirvana at the 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert (and later on Saturday Night Live), and there were touching tributes to the Newtown shooting victims from SNL and The Voice. The cast of Downton Abbey acted out scenes from Breaking Bad, we met the most easily scared man in the world and/or Norway, and Anne Hathaway and Samuel L. Jackson had a "sad-off" about their upcoming movies: Les Miserables and Django Unchained, respectively.

Nirvana Reunites with Paul McCartney: The three surviving members of Nirvana — Krist Novoselic, Pat Smear and the Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl — reunited for the first time since frontman Kurt Cobain's death in 1994 at the Hurricane Sandy benefit concert on Dec. 12, and got a little-known singer by the name of Paul McCartney to take Cobain's place at the microphone. Days later, the lineup took the stage once again to perform "Cut Me Some Slack" on Saturday Night Live.

Honey Boo Boo as Gollum: Conan O'Brien explains that Gollum is a little scarier than he remembers him being in the Lord of the Rings films. Could "My Precious" be referring to Go-Go Juice?

Most Easily Scared Guy in the World: This Norwegian news report seems like it could be a cold open from an episode of The Office, but no, it's 100 percent real. Basse Andersen is so easily startled, and has such over-the-top reactions to surprises, that his co-workers have made frightening him a daily pastime. Fortunately, Andersen seems to get as much amusement out of the pranks as his colleagues do — and as anyone who watches this hilarious video will as well.

Anne Hathaway and Samuel L Jackson's "Sad-Off": In this very un-PC (and NSFW!) video from the folks at Funny or Die, Anne Hathaway and Samuel L. Jackson compete to see which of their Christmas Day dramas is sadder — Les Miserables ("It's literally called 'The Miserable," Hathaway points out, and she has a fair point) or Django Unchained ("You know my movie's about slavery, right?" Jackson asks). Which one do you think takes the sad cake?

The Voice Honors Sandy Hook Elementary: The Voice opened its show Monday with a moving tribute to the victims of the Newtown, Conn., massacre, with each of the four judges — Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green — handling a verse of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," backed by a chorus of the contestants, as well as hosts Carson Daly and Christina Milian. Each person also held up a card with the name of a victim who was killed in the tragic shooting three days earlier.
