Attention skateboarders everywhere: Do a cool trick, and Tony Hawk may actually take notice!
Adam Miller learned that firsthand after pulling an incredible gainer backflip, in which he skates to the edge of a flight of stairs and does a backflip off the skateboard, landing on a second board at the bottom of the stairs. The video of his stunt was posted by Hawk on his YouTube channel, Ride, in early February.
"Board-to-board backflip down 6 stairs! This is AMAZING. Introducing Adam Miller," Hawk tweeted on Feb. 9 with a link to the video.
Since then, the video has attracted more than 2.6 million viewers, making it the channel's most-viewed video. Even the "slam" video, in which Miller practices the trick repeatedly with no success, has garnered more than 313,000 views. Check out both videos below:
