Frank (Tobias Menzies) is obviously no match Jamie (Sam Heughan) when it comes to winning Claire's (Caitriona Balfe) heart on Outlander, but you won't find the actress bashing Claire's first love.
"The tragedy of that relationship is that Frank really loves her. People bash on Frank, but the poor guy gets this woman back that he loves and she's pregnant with another man's child. She tells him that she's never going to love him again and that's very tragic," the actress tells TVGuide.com.

Of course, Balfe also knows that Claire and Jamie are the type of meant-to-be pair that's the stuff of legend. "When Claire and Jamie meet each other, that's a very equal love. It's something bigger than both of them and it spans time and space," she says. "That's the true soulmates."
